Our services are tailored for those who need assistance with meeting challenges in their daily lives, especially the needs of America's veterans.

We also welcome non-veterans on a space available basis.

The "Pine Edge" is a licensed 42-bed Board and Lodging with Special Services facility located in downtown Little Falls, Minnesota. The Pine Edge provides a home environment that is perfect for the person who is mostly independent and does not require skilled nursing care. The home features 20 private and 10 semi-private, fully-equipped rooms. Our rates and the services that are provided are listed below.

For 35 years Nouis Homes have offered friendly, healthy, and caring environments for those who need
assistance in meeting life’s challenges. The Pine Edge is a peaceful, conveniently-located property just one block south
of downtown Little Falls, Minnesota.

Services Offered at the Pine Edge:

  • 20 private and 10 semi-private rooms. Rates vary according to room size, amenities, views, and the services that each resident requires. The rooms are clean and comfortable and include a complete bathroom, bed, dresser, closet, carpeting,and a ceiling fan. The home's common areas have central air conditioning.
  • Three nutritious meals served each day, plus snacks. Dietary needs are accommodated.
  • Transportation to and from doctor and dentist appointments within a 35 mile radius of Little Falls.
    (The home is four blocks from St. Gabriel's Hospital, and 30 miles from the VA Medical Center in St.Cloud.)
  • Medication monitoring and assistance. A Registered Nurse and Certified Nursing Assistants are on the staff.
  • Housekeeping/laundry services

  • Barber (once a month)
  • Recreation -- local excursions, parks, movies, games
  • Indoor smoking room (well-ventilated)

    Rates:

    Pine Edge rates vary according to the type of room that is preferred and the special services that are required. Room types include private room with private bathroom, private room with shared bathroom, and semi-private (shared with one other person) and a shared bathroom. The rates start at $900.00/month for semi-private (shared) rooms.

    Nouis Home at Pine Edge is called home by many disabled veterans. Some of the veterans would be homeless if they did not live here.
    Although we provide them a very nice home, many of them have minimal assets, if any, for incidental expenses. Therefore, we accept
    donations that are used to provide residents who have nothing with basic needs (toiletries, clothing, and miscellaneous items).

    Map to the Pine Edge

    If traveling north from Royalton on Highway 10, take the first Little Falls exit as you approach the city. Stay on this road (County Road 76) until you reach the downtown area. The Pine Edge will be a large building, immediately after Maple Island Park, on your left.

    If you are traveling south on Highway 371 from Brainerd, take the first Little Falls exit and stay on County Road 76 until it reaches the downtown area. Go straight through two stop lights and you will see the Pine Edge on your right.

    If you are traveling east or west on Highway 27 from either Long Prairie or Pierz, stay on the highway until you reach downtown Little Falls. The Pine Edge will be on your right as you go south on County Road 76, which will be 1st Street Southeast.
